There is a small plateau that rises out of the marsh and on top of it is dry mud. It is a little bit sandy but, amazingly water proof. The water caught in the leaves of the oak tree that tower over it during a rain. Some water drips onto the ground but, it is sucked up into the cracks. Around it is thorny branches from pine trees that the warriors collected to protect it from badgers and foxes.
